Springfield's Favorite Family Arrives in Rocket League: But It's Not the Car You're Dreaming Of

It was previously announced that The Simpsons was collaborating with Epic Games' battle royale, but that's not the only place where enthusiasts can experience the universe of Springfield. The beloved show is also making its way to the popular soccer-driving hybrid, bringing along an vehicle customization option that will also be usable in Fortnite. However, if gamers will actually want to equip it is a different matter, as fans have their hearts set on just one Simpsons vehicle the community is eager to drive, and this new offering isn't that one.

The Dream Vehicle

While many gamers would undoubtedly love to face off while driving Homer's custom creation—the famously flawed automobile the patriarch designed personally in the 1991 episode "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"—regrettably, that isn't what's being offered. Not even receiving the Canyonero, the heavy-duty truck showcased in season 10. Rather, players are getting the Simpsons' standard beat-up four-door, which has been in the family since 1989. Though this particular car has accumulated plenty of miles, it remains an iconic element of the series. For those who pay attention to the game's car hitboxes, the Simpson family car shares the same hitbox as the Dominus.
